Color Management

Overview

Oloneo PhotoEngine is a fully color managed application. From input to output, PhotoEngine keeps track of the various color spaces used and automatically applies the required color transformations. The application also converts the displayed image using your display color profile. PhotoEngine is compatible with most ICC files created by display calibration devices.

Display Preferences

By default, PhotoEngine automatically locates and uses your display color profile. You can turn off this feature or choose a custom color profile. Unless you have specific reasons to do so, you should not modify the display color profile settings.

Showing the Display Color Profile Settings dialog:

Select Display Preferences... in the Edit menu

Turning off display color management:

Open the Display Color Profile Settings dialog
Check the Use sRGB Color Space button
Click the OK button

Using a custom display color profile:

Open the Display Color Profile Settings dialog
Check the Use Custom ICC Profile button
Click the Browse... button
Select an ICC file
Close the file dialog
Click the OK button

Restoring the default display color management:

Open the Display Color Profile Settings dialog
Check the Use Monitor Color Profile button
Click the OK button
